Camp Nativity 2008
Dear Parents,
To help insure that your children have an enjoyable, safe,
and trouble-free summer at camp, we urge you to go over the following guidelines
with them, to reinforce what we tell them at the camp.
Parents, please be sure to leave your work numbers and an
accurate emergency plan in place for your child in case of an emergency.
- Children are not to leave the camp unless they have
previous parental permission. This can only be granted by phone or a written
message.
- Children must be checked in and out of camp by their
guardian or an adult unless noted otherwise.
- Mark all belongings, including lunches, with first and
last names. No glass containers please. Lunches will be handed out at
approximately 12:00 p.m. so that everyone can eat at the same time. Snacks
and water bottles may be brought separately.
- Children should report any stealing, vandalism,
bullying, or misconduct to a staff member.
- Bikes should be locked to bike rack.
- For children riding bikes to and from camp, safety
should be stressed.
- For important or emergencies only, you can call your
child at the camp phone number, 267-230-9653
- If there is a medical problem with your child that we
should be aware, please be sure to tell us. All medication must be clearly
labeled and in an original container to be distributed by staff only.
- Your children should not be left at camp past 4:00 p.m.
unless they are part of the extended program. Parents are charged $15 for
each 5 minutes after designated time for regular or extended program.
- Children will be expected to keep Camp Nativity as clean
as possible at all times.
These rules are for the safety and well-being of your
children. Any violation may result in parents being notified to pick up their
child at that time. If the violation is serious, the camp director will decide
if and when the child will be allowed to return to camp. There will be NO
refunds for children expelled from camp.
