BEGINNING OF SCHOOL YEAR HOURS

HOURS
7:00 AM - 8:30 AM
3:00 PM - 5:30 PM
Please be prompt when picking up your child. If you are running late, please call and let us know (215-672-5914). It is very upsetting for a child to be there after closing time and not know why their parent's are late. There is a $10.00 late fee every 10 minutes you are late after the 5:30 PM closing.
HALF DAYS
C.A.R.E.S. is open on half days (see school calendar). Children must bring their lunch and a drink. Students may NO longer change into play clothes on half days. Students MUST be pre-registered for these days.
FULL DAYS
C.A.R.E.S is open on full days only if the teachers are in the building (see school calendar). Children must bring their lunch and a drink. They may wear play clothes. Students MUST be pre-registered for these days. Registration forms will be sent home with your child two weeks prior to the half or full day. Registration closes the week before. NO LATE REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED!!!
FYI
Please be sure your child's full name is on everything they bring to C.A.R.E.S. (ex. pencil cases, sweaters, gym sweatshirts, lunch boxes, books, etc...) Children may not bring electronic games to C.A.R.E.S. (Game Boy).
Please dress your child for the expected weather (gloves, hat) we try to go outside every day.
PAYMENT
Payment is due at the end of each week. Checks should be made payable to Nativity C.A.R.E.S. There will be a $10.00 late fee added for delinquent payments.
PICK UP
Only designated people will be permitted to pick up children. Written notice is required to make changes. Any designated person not recognized by the staff will be asked to show identification. All children must be signed out.
EMERGENCY CONTACTS
No emergency contact should be further than 15 minutes away. All contacts must be willing and able to drive (even in the snow).
HOMEWORK
All students (grades 1-8) must do their written homework at C.A.R.E.S. Parents are responsible for checking their child's homework. Kindergarteners must do all assignments at home. Any child who can not follow the rules of the homework room will be asked to leave the room. They will have to sit until they are picked up and all assignments will have to be completed at home.
REMINDERS
If your work or cell phone number change during the school year, please let us know immediately in writing.
BILLING
No bills will be sent home. Parents are responsible for checking with a staff member at the end of each week for their balance. You may also call to check your balance (215-672-5914). Payments may be sent in with your child in an envelope marked C.A.R.E.S. There will be a $10.00 fee for any delinquent payments.
DISCIPLINE
We reserve the right to dismiss any child from C.A.R.E.S. who is a consistent discipline problem.
NOTES
If your child does not come to C.A.R.E.S. every day (5 days per week), you must send a note to your child's teacher each day they are to go to C.A.R.E.S. For your child's safety, his/her teacher and the C.A.R.E.S. staff NEED to be aware of how your child is to go home.
