4 marble composition books (Soc. Stud. + Religion, ILA, Math, Science)
7 laminated folders, assorted colors (privacy folder, test, S.S., Religion, ILA, Science, Art)
1 compass, 1 protractor
1—12” ruler (try to find one with inches and centimeters)
2 pencils 2pens (red) 2 erasable pens (black) 2 highlighters (different colors)
1 pack crayons
1 large glue stick
1 pair scissors
1 dictionary 1 thesaurus 1 Catholic Bible
Post-it notes index cards, 2 packs
1 box of small ADHESIVE index tabs 1” X 1/2”

**Students new to Nativity must purchase 1 additional marble copybook to use as a liturgy journal**

J Clear, shoe box sized plastic bins from the dollar store, for our classroom library.

J Baby, Lysol, Clorox, or other wipes

J Bottle of spray cleaner, like Lysol

J Any kids’ books you are about to throw away.

 

 

Writing Process

! Pre-Writing:

Can be a list, an ideas web, etc. , something quickly jotted down to gather ideas

! Drafting:

A “sloppy copy”, putting the ideas into sentences

! Revising:

Checking to make sure your ideas are focused and clear, etc.

! Editing:

Checking spelling, and grammar

! Publishing:

Polishing your copy for neatness, illustrations, etc.
