SUMMER SKILLS PROGRAM AND TUTORING

We are sending home information about the opportunities presented this summer by our faculty to help students maintain their academic skills or find new ways to study.  Please contact the school office or the individual teachers for more information.

THANK YOU!

Thank you to all who helped make this year special for our children…to Mrs. Ludovico and Mrs. Devanney for greeting the students with a smile as they get off the bus, even in miserable weather; to Mr. Oliver, Ms. Burckhardt, Mrs. Conroy and the car line valets for their service to the school and fellow students; to all of our volunteers in the lunch room and other school endeavors, particularly our Home and School Board members for planning the activities and fundraisers that do so much to help our school.

THANK YOU # 2

Field Day 2008 was a huge success despite the less than optimal weather.  Thank you to Mr. Oliver for planning the day and all of the parent volunteers for supervising the events and providing refreshments.  We applaud the students for their sportsmanship and fair play which enabled everyone to have an enjoyable day.

FINAL TUITION PAYMENTS

The last tuition payment was due to the Parish Business Office on May 1st.  Please make arrangements to settle your tuition accounts as soon as possible.  If accounts are delinquent, participation in Pre-K, Kindergarten and 8th grade graduations, receipt of report cards and academic record transfers will be withheld until accounts are settled.  Please do not put us in the position of denying your children these events due to inattention of financial arrangements.

PLAN AHEAD FOR LUNCH

The last day of the lunch program is Friday, June 6th.  On Monday, June 9th, Mr. Hector Guerra, owner of Pizza Plaza and father of Alexia and Hector, is treating the students and faculty to a pizza lunch.  On this day, the children should bring in a drink and any other snack items.  We are grateful to Mr. Guerra for his generous treat to our students and staff.  On June 10 – 12, students should bring in lunch and drinks from home.

JOIN THE FUN!

Nativity of Our Lord School will be celebrating its 50th anniversary this Fall.  In honor of this celebration, we are looking for volunteers to prep and paint the classrooms and school hallways.  Gather a group of 4 or 5 friends or family members and select a classroom you would like to paint!  We will reserve that room just for your group.  Food and refreshments will be provided.  We guarantee a day filled with lots of laughs.  We will begin painting both during the day and for a few hours into the evening beginning Monday, June 23rd.  We need your help to make this project a success.  To volunteer call Jerry at 215-962-0671 or Patrick at 215-918-0572 or e-mail your availability to stacedez@comcast.net.
