WEEDEN’S WEBPAGE Text Box: THE STUDENTS OF ROOM 215 ARE ENJOYING THE THIRD TRIMESTER “I like ILA and social studies because in both of those subjects, I learn new termonologies, phrases, and interesting events.” Joseph Campagna “I learn many new things in ILA like noun clauses, and prepositional phrases are easy.” Devon Haviland “Math is one of my favorite subjects because we get to learn new techniques, like percentages.” Kira Simmons-Henry “I hope that all the things that I learned in the first two trimesters will help me in the final exams.” Aidan Clinton “I like seeing how I’ve progressed in ILA on my report card.” Claudia Deegan “Both the teachers and the subject areas are very engaging and interesting.” Nicole Alden “I like ILA and Math because they become more challenging.” Francis Ferrara CLASS TRIP The seventh graders are looking forward to an “Education Day” at Sam Plumeri Sr. Field at Waterfront Park, Trenton, NJ on Tuesday, May 25, 2010. The students will enjoy a tour, activities and a ballgame. READING OLYMPIC BOOK UPDATE The 2010 Competition Team was the most successful ever! On March 24, we scored sixty points to win a first place blue ribbon. This team was the best prepared and most enthusiastic group Mrs. Weeden has worked with. Congratulations to the El Tigres! The 2010-2011 book list is already published. All seventh and eighth graders will received a book from this list to enjoy during the summer.
