What’s New in Room 106….

Text Box: Boys and Girls in Kindergarten shared a happy, productive year.
We learned about God the Father who created our world. We enjoyed learning about the real meaning of Christmas and what Nativity of Our Lord means. We know the sign of the cross and prayed throughout the day.
Kinders learned the sounds of the letters and some frequently used words we call sight words. They are able to write a sentence and illustrate it!
Counting to 100 was a fun activity as the children looked forward to the 100 days celebration. Students learned to identify cylinders, cubes, spheres, tell time to the hour, identify coins, and we did “skip counting”.
What fun we had in the science lab as we learned to predict results, do experiments, and record observations. Baking soda with vinegar labs was our favorite.
Field Day was a fun day as we worked with each other to have fun while keeping active and healthy. Thanks, Mr. Nally.
The Mother’s Day Tea and End of Year Celebration were culminating activities. What a gift to our families as they watched us sing and move and smile from the stage. Children even performed the Number song in Spanish. Thanks, Señora Carr.

Thank you dear parents for all your support and encouragement for all our activities this year.
Have a happy, healthy summer!
Remember to keep reading and say your prayers. See you in September!
God Bless you,
          Mrs. Weisel
